Recirculating liquid thermostat for tempering external systems
The device is designed for external temperature control in small-volume systems, such as for cooling bench refractometers, flow cells of bench photometers, etc. The thermostat with a cooling unit using the Peltier effect is robust, compact, quiet and easy to operate.
The circulation thermostat is connected to the external system in which the temperature will be maintained by a pair of thermally insulated flexible hoses connected to the screw connections on the back of the circulation thermostat. To prevent heating without water filling and thus destroying the Peltier elements, the thermostat is equipped with a conductivity sensor that signals that there is no water in the system and interrupts heating/cooling.
The water circulation in the system is ensured by a gear pump with sufficient power, which allows a cleaning filter to be installed in the pipe. The set and actual temperature in the liquid is displayed on the display. The temperature is set using a foil keyboard. In addition to constant temperature control, the device also allows time programming of the temperature curve and control according to this programmed curve. The device is equipped with an RS232 interface for communication with a PC.
