Colloidal stability determines how long beer retains its clarity and appearance without unwanted haze. This category is therefore intended for laboratories and breweries that need to predict beer shelf life and verify its behaviour during storage. In practice, this involves a combination of temperature shock treatment and haze measurement, which helps simulate product ageing and detect the risk of future instability at an early stage.
